As you will be aware, the usual Friends’ Christmas Tree Festival has had to be cancelled this year, but there will be a SchoolsTreeFest instead, which together with four church trees, will bring some Christmas light into St Eustachius’.
The Festival will open on Friday the 4th of December and run through to Tuesday the 15th December. Opening hours will be 12 until 4.30 p.m.
Although this will be a scaled down affair, it is being run in conjunction with the activities that Tavistock BID (Business Improvement District) are organising in the town where they have arranged for businesses to decorate their own trees. There will be a Stag trail for the children and a raffle too. To capture the Christmas spirit, music will be piped onto the church green and there will be sumptuous sales to buy! Everything raised during this fortnight, will be for St Eustachius’.
If you are able to give up a couple of hours or so to help steward and capture some early Christmas magic, could you please contact Judy Hirst (01822 617569) or email: email@example.com). Afternoons are split: 12 – 2.30 p.m. and 2.30 – 4.30 p.m.
Thank you in advance of your help and support.
