Galley and Toilets Funding Appeal
Many if you will know that plans are now quite far advanced to install a Galley, Toilets and Storage facility in the north-west corner of the church, replacing ‘Dora’s Cupboard’. In fact, the plans are about to receive formal planning approval – called a Faculty – from the Diocese of Exeter.
We already have about 70% of the funding that we need for this project, through some legacies, fundraising on behalf of the Friends and the PCC, and from personal donations. We need a further £57,500 to meet the estimated cost, and have already made some applications to grant awarding charities to try and close the gap further. However, we think we still need to raise £20,000 from our own further fundraising, and our fundraising team of Julie Jillians and Fiona Lang are working on ways to do this.
Some of you have already made donations to the project and I would like to say thank you very much for your generosity. For those of you who would like to make a donation, you can do so by the following methods, adding Gift Aid if you wish:
1. Using the Card Machine at the back of the church
2. Click here to go to the page titled ‘Raising Funds For The Galley And Toilets Project’, where you will see donation links.
On the above website page you can also find a plan of the intended design. If we are successful in raising the rest of our funding, the project could be completed in 2022.
Thank you
