Following the great success of our local NHS fundraising campaign, St Eustachius has selected the West Devon Children’s Centre in Tavistock as the next major fundraising campaign. This centre comes under the umbrella of the national charity Action for Children.
West Devon Children’s Centre provides a range of targeted Early Help services to families with Children aged 8 years and under. Early Help means taking action to support a child, young person or their family early in the life of a problem, as soon as it emerges. It can be required at any stage in a child’s life from pre-birth to adulthood, and applies to any problem or need that a family needs support to resolve. It also applies to all children and young people, with any form of need.
You will understand that these needs are greatly increased due to the Corona Virus, making families even more vulnerable.
You can simply make a donation following the link at the bottom of this page, which will take you to the St Eustachius’ VirginMoneyGiving site. You can include Gift Aid in this donation if you wish. The donations will be collected in the church account and transferred to the West Devon Children’s Centre, in one block when the campaign finishes.
Alternatively, you can sponsor some of the fundraising activities that will be taking place:
- Pam and Sarah will be doing a marathon! They won’t be running though, but walking fairly fast and completing it over a period of 10 days starting Monday 22nd June. Here are some pictures of them and all the supporters who turned out to urge them on:
