Dear Messy Friends and Families,
I do hope you are all well and are hanging in there with all that’s going on? Know that God is hanging in there with you too!
This month’s Messy is about Jesus and the sea. We’ve all experienced a massive sea change this year, with huge challenges and extremely difficult times. However, we know that Jesus has mastery over sea storms, controlling the winds and waves, as well as the amazing power to walk over the water, with no fear of the depths and what lies beneath. Our prayer is that we may be inspired and encouraged by these Bible readings and activities, so we can go into the future knowing that Jesus is walking beside us and that we are sustained by God’s all powerful love for each and every one of us. This Messy Session is another ‘at home’ version, as we’re still in that difficult transition of wondering when and how everything will be getting back to normal. Lots of people will be starting back to school and work in the next few days after our very long enforced break and I’m sure there will mean mixed feelings for many families. Our prayers are with you at this time.
We are in a an exciting time of transition in our Church, with two new members of the team. We have a new Curate, Rosie and a new Children and Family Worker, Fiona. Both Rosie and Fiona have heard all about you (!!!) and Messy Church and are longing to get to know you all very soon. Click here to find out more.
We pray that their ministry will be richly blessed.
Lots of Messy love, hugs and prayers to you all and hopefully see you soon,
Sarah and the Messy Church Team x
